Standard Introduction Animation ----------------------------------------------------------------------- TD has one arm folded under the other arm while stroking his chin thoughtfully as he assesses his opponent. After a second, he snickers, takes his battles stance and says "Not a problem..." Special Introduction #1 (Nyagchillios) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- If fighting Nyakun, the screen appears with them fighting in a cloud of fists and feet. They'll soon fall to the ground, stand up, and tell each other to "bring it". Battle then begins. Taunt (Standard) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Essentially a hands on waist and belly laugh thing. >_> Primary Physical Description ----------------------------------------------------------------------- See attached Writers Guide Description, Tuxedo form. Character Move List Summary -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Coma State (Special Disability) Broom Shield (Special Move) Broom Summoning (Special Move) Golden Rose Toss (Special Move) Venus Slam (Special Move) Shining Star (Special Move) NC Focus (Special Move) Golden Rose Barrage (Omni Move) Thread Buster (Omni Move) Skull and Cross-Brooms (Omni Move) Oh My Goddess! (Omni Move) Arty-P Conversion (Limit Break) Henshin Da Yo (Limit Break) Ditz Cannon (Finisher) Extra "Normal" Attacks -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fierce Kick + Forward: Back-flip kick. (launcher) Fierce Punch + Forward: Broom Extension Stab. (Armed only) Grapple Moves -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Coma State (Special Disability) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- If TD receives no commands/input from the player for longer than a set number of seconds (5 or so perhaps) then TD will fall asleep where he stands. At that point, he will remain sleeping until hit or by the player hitting the controllers buttons excessively in an attempt to wake him up themselves. While waking up, he will be disoriented and still vulnerable. Broom Shield (Special Move) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuxedo Dionysus twirls the Morphing Old Broom around quickly much like how Tuxedo Mask uses his cane to deflect projectiles. The broom does exactly that, but will not work on Omni, Limit Break, or Finisher Moves. (Normal and Special Projectiles only!) In addition, the broom will inflict damage to anyone standing directly in front of TD, but at the cost of lowering TD's grip meter. (Hard to hold on to a broom while you twirl it, while clobbering people over the head. ^_- Grip meter decreases by half of full. Grip is lowered only by 5% to bounce projectiles. The duration of the shield is dependant on the punch strength used. the higher the strength, the longer the twirl. Broom Summoning (Special Move) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since the Morphin' Old Broom is an extension of TD himself, when he is disarmed, the broom hits the ground and fades away. Thus to re-equip it, he must resummon it again. This move drains omni-power like a real omni-move, but it only drains a fraction of a full bar -- depending on how it is used. If used while standing still: normal drain. (15% drain) If used while running: double drain, but it appears without delay. If used while in the air: double drain, again no delay. Golden Rose Toss (Special Move) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuxedo Dionysus tosses a golden rose at his foe, charged with Minakochanian Ditz Energy. If he's in the air, he'll toss the rose downwards towards the ground. If he's on the ground, he'll toss it upwards into the air instead. This makes it great for anti-air protection. The damage caused by the rose is determined by punch button strength, but there's a time delay depending on the strength as well. (You see him charge the rose with medium or strong punches, whereas he basically just whips out a quick rose with weak (to disrupt others.) Weak tosses have simple physical damage, strong tosses are charged with ditz energy and take on that damage type. Venus Slam (Special Move) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dionysus jumps up into the air with various speeds horrizontally and vertically, grabs his opponent by the throat (no block, but tech hit allowed!) turns around and throws them to the ground forcefully. If victim escapes with a tech-hit, TD will be stunned for a second after he lands. (sheer disbelief! how could one escape such a mighty otaku's grasp! ^_-) Shining Star (Special Move) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Done only in the air, it is best suited as a finisher on air combos. TD musters a large dose of Minakochanian Ditz Energy into his fist then does a massive uppercut (although his velocity doesn't change). If it connects, there will be a bright flash and the victim will be sent flying until they crash into the ground. Their Dizzy Meter will be incremented by half, leaving a good chance of becoming dizzy upon landing. (If they were already partly dizzy before being hit anyway.) Damage inflicted is roughly twice that of his regular strong punch. NC Focus (Special Move) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dionysus focuses his NC powers for the next Special/Omni attack, effectively doubling its strength. Only works while Dionysus is on the ground, and leaves him vulnerable for a second. Golden Rose Barrage (Omni Move) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Omni-Power Bars: 1 * Ground Only Attack. Think of Gambit's "Royal Flush" attack, only with roses instead. He tosses his broom straight up instead of a bo-stick, naturally. (No broom is tossed if he's disarmed.) Thread Buster (Omni Move) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Omni-Power Bars: 1 * Ground/Air Attack. This is a large, yet short blast of special energy. If hit, the victim takes moderate damage and flies backwards painfully until he hits the wall. The background is switched as the change of "threads" take place. The blast is large, yet fast. (think dr. doom's normal projectile blast I suppose. Something -like- that anyway.) The unique point of this move is that it renders the allies of the victim "gone" for 10-15 seconds on the main timer. They have to run to the new thread on their own after all. The move ends with TD and his team falling out of a plothole, TD staying on the screen laughing nefariously while his teammates jump off-screen. This may be auto-aiming, or allow the player to pick the direction with the directional controls in the slight pause/slowdown before the blast is actually fired off. At first it'll probably be much more limited and horizontal. Skull and Cross-Brooms (Omni Move) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Omni-Power Bars: 2 * Ground Attack Only TD charges the opponent and tries to connect with a sliding kick. If he succeeds, he'll begin doing a 15 hit combo with the Morphin' Old Broom. At about hit 4-5, NC-Janitor will appear on the other side with his own Broom and begin mimicing TD. (Thus the total combo potential is closer to 30.) At the end of it, they both do a crouching fierce punch at the same time (their launcher). Only that hit can finish an opponent, which would cause a delay right there where the brooms are crossed, with the opponent immediately between them. That last hit will be charged with electricity or pure energy, giving the skeletonal-zap sprite for the character. ^_- Note that TD will probably taunt after this as NC-Janitor disappears and the opponent will fall directly in front of him in a heap. (No chance to roll out or right themselves in the fall -- however, they will not be able to be hurt until they get up.) NOTES: If he connects with the sliding kick, he slides -through- the opponent then backhands them with the broom to start the combo. Oh My Goddess! (Omni Move) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Omni Power Bars: 1 * Can be used in the air, or on the ground, with different effects. Talk about a controversial blantant copyright infringing move! (So yes, odds are this one will NEVER be implimented, but I'm putting it here just because I want to. ^_^) On the ground, TD points at the target and says "Now Skuld!" Skuld jumps out, points at the target and says "Now Banpei!" Finally Banpei jumps out and starts firing off an arching assortment of "good luck charms". The attack type is "Holy". Minimal damage is done if blocked. In the air, Skuld jumps from offsides and tries to club the opponent with her mighty mallet. One hit is all that's done, but damn will it hurt if it hits. ^_- This attack type is normal. Does a good deal of block damage and bounces them to the ground even if blocked. One condition for this air version is that the ground can not be on the screen at the time. (High jump needed.) The opponent must also be on the screen at the time. Arty-P Conversion (Limit Break) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Only usable in various stages, this is Tuxedo Dionysus' standard Limit Break. He has an alternate Limit Break for battlefields where this one is impossible. With this, TD calls down the power of the main Ditz Cannon on the Artemis-P Space Station in orbit. Massive damage is given, and while it can be blocked, there will be significant block damage done. The ray also plays havoc with the victim's faction alignment, changing it to minpirian for the rest of the battle. This has various effects, which should become obvious. The biggest that should be noted is the loss of all faction attack powers. (They lose their own, but do not gain the Minpirian Faction Attack since the minpire knows better. ^_-) Defending does nothing to protect the otaku warrior from the attack on their faction status. That is something completely dependant on their willpower. (-25% to willpower check due to the magnitude of the power, and those weak vs ditz energy check at -50%. Immunity will protect them from it (-10% if they're resistant) but for the most part only Minakochanians are immune to the Ditz Energy. (So it's a moot point.) Henshin Da Yo (Limit Break) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- His alternate Limit Break for when summoning help from the Arty-P is impossible for the current battlefield. If you can't draw on outside sources for help, draw on inside sources eh? Essentially TD says the name of the move as power errupts from within him, causing his tuxedo to be replaced in a flash of yellow light with the Golden Minpirian Armour. In this form, his DEF is increased and gains resistances to all energy and magical based attacks except for Nega Energy. In the case of Nega Energy his weakness to it is just negated. The Armour remains for the remainder of the battle. Additionally, TD is has 30-40% of his life restored. Ditz Cannon (Finisher) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- A powerful blast from TD's Thread Cannon set to Ditzify rather than the normal thread hurling mode. The pulse only lasts a couple of seconds, is auto-aiming (one of 8 directions), and can not be defended. It'll look sort of painful since it'll throw the victim across the screen and into walls forcefully. The fact that it's a finisher is why this move is not overly omnipotent. :) Finishers can only be used when your opponent is near death in the final round of a battle after all. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ASSUMED NAME: Tuxedo Dionysus REAL NAME: Dionysus AKA: TD, Dionysus, Janitor (by Prince Sapphire) AUTHOR: Mordenkainen/Dion Torraville OTAKU OF: Aino Minako FACTION: Minpire (Minakochanian Faction Leader) PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Dionysus is 5'10", approx. 175 lbs, short brown hair and greenish-blue eyes. While unhenshined, Dionysus sports a snazzy yellow tuxedo which has earned him several nicknames by Leloni Bunny. Siwwy Wabbit. The tuxedo generally sports a cape that extends down to about his knees although there has been occations when he's gone capeless. He has glasses for reading, but is usually found without them since he doesn't read much in a post. ;p In henshined form, he wears Golden Endymion-Type Armour with a circular medallian made of platinum set on back of the right wrist. The center of the medallian has carved orange topaz made out to resemble an exclaimation mark. His armour has a cape like all Endymion-Type Armours should, being a deep, royal red with golden trimming. His general weapon of choice these days is still the Morphin' Old Broom. The broom itself generally takes the form of a regular straw broom that has the sign of Minako set on it. (See pic on the Minpire homepage or found with TD's WG on the WG site.) SKILLS/POWERS: NC-Power: With the merging of NC-Janitor, Dionysus gained some control over manipulating Continuity. To a casual observer, it would look something like spellcasting. While not as powerful as NC-Janitor once was, with the power tied to a True Continuity being (Dionysus :P) the effects are more controlable and tend to be more.. continuous. ShapeShifting: Dionysus finally discovered he was a shapeshifter captured by Prince Sapphire over 2 years ago. Ever since, he's been able to use those abilities to shapeshift his way out of sticky situations. He generally doesn't rely on this, however, as he keeps forgetting about it. ^^; (His Morphin' Old Broom is in fact an extension of himself, which explains why it appears in his hand whenever he needs it.) See OTHER NOTES on his final "power", which is also a weakness. WEAPONS/EQUIPMENT: Morphin' Old Broom: The most useful weapon on Otaku World today! Just think! It can be used as a sword since it's practically indestructible, flipped around to be used as a club, wielded two-handed to be used as a staff/bo. He can heft it like a spear to throw at a distance, and odds are it'll come back like a boomerang! PLUS it can sweep the floor! Can any other weapon say the same? :) Golden Minpiran Armour: He can now henshin into a more armoured form, sporting a golden suit of armour (better for defense :P) which boosted his resistance to energy weapons/spells. However, one good shot to the face and ... well, you know. :P It seems to draw power from his faith in Minako. The Armour form came about after learning he was a shape shifter. In all likelihood, the armor is merely a form of that shapeshifting manifesting itself. [Almost Never Used] Guardian Otaku Medallian: A special item that temporarily summons a random Otaku Warrior to unleash their Special Attack in the defense of Dionysus. This doesn't necessarily mean the attack will be useful. Think of Final Fantasy VIII for those who have played it. "Guardian Forces." ;) This is also only available while henshined. [Almost Never Used.] Yellow Roses: Basically your standard Tuxedo Mask rose, but yellow instead of red, black, or white. ^_^ They don't do much damage, serving as distractions, etc, more than anything else. They can explode upon impact, but not all of them do. Thread Buster: A new device that appears on his right arm upon command, fashioned after Megatron's arm cannon from Transformers. (The original cartoon.) Victim's hit with the Thread Buster are forcefully transported away into another thread. A temporary vortex is sometimes caused, causing others to be thrown out of the thread as well. TD has been known to use it as his own form of Plot Hole to escape undesirable threads. (Shoot at a wall, run into the vortex.) WEAKNESSES: Due to overexposure to Black Poison Crystal of the Darkmoonians, he's generally weak vs Dark Glen's evilizing Demon Sword, releasing Evil Dionysus to cause much senseless destruction. Evil Dionysus is many times more powerful than Tuxedo Dionysus due to his shapeshifting body acting as a power resonator. (Unfortunately for TD, Minpirean Ditz Energy isn't resonated nearly as well as Darkmoonian Nega-energy for some unknown reason.) This is considered a weakness since ED has different goals and agendas, usually interfering with TD's. PERSONALITY QUIRKS: Wild. Since the rejoining of Tuxedo Dionysus and NC-Janitor (Body & Soul), Dionysus has been a wilder, more aggressive fighter. If anything, he's not afraid to put his life on the line at a moment's notice. He knows his faith in Minako will see him through any situation, or at least he'll die so fast that the pain won't matter. He's also very territorial these days, occationally launching into plans to invade and claim other faction bases for the Minpire, convinced that if the entire world is controlled by the Minpire, then it will follow by default that Minako is the best senshi of them all. Another odd tendency for TD is his habit of gathering together bands of seemingly random otaku (that always randomly include SD-KM) to do senseless destruction and mayhem -- or at the very least unpredictable destruction and mayhem. The only thing to expect is that Minpire controlled installations will not be targets on such groups' agenda. Author Induced Comas: This is not something for people to write happening, but something that tends to happen due to his author (Mord) occationally falling into a Writer's Block typically taking the form of TD doing pretty much nothing for weeks on end as others drag him along in whatever thread he was currently in, or the thread itself stagnating. The end result is that he eventually snaps out of whatever daze he was in when Mord begins posting again. (If Mord doesn't post for TD for several weeks, feel free to have him fall asleep while nobody's watching. ;) "Oh my Dionysus! Don't fall asleep like that while driving!!!!" ORIGIN/HISTORY: Dionysus was a shapeshifter fighting for the glory of Minako until the day he was captured by Prince Sapphire and had his soul extracted and banished to the NC-Realms. After the darkmoonian failed to completely brainwash him, he managed to escape, but lost his memories in the attempt, thinking of himself as The Janitor, and later "Tuxedo Dionysus". Check out http://www.angelfire.com/anime/otakuwars/td/ for more. ;) GOALS: World domination in the name of Minako-sama. All ass will be kicked, and all spleens will be handed to the heathens until they submit and recognize Aino Minako as their goddess. Many a Nefarious Plan will be thought up and executed to further these goals. Also to make cheap shots and wise cracks at Mamoru whenever the opportunity presents itself. These are usually done to his face or aimed at him directly. ;) Kane Magus is usually caught up in the crossfire. NOTABLE ALLIES: The Artemesian Warrior/Frank, whom he met on the DarkCrystal after, um, dropping in. [Retired/MIA] Kobanal, About the only Makochanian that regularly stops by to lend a hand with the serious task of ass kicking. [Freak] SD-KM, When TD gets himself into serious trouble, you can almost bet SD-KM is also there getting in trouble with him. Usually because it's the runt's fault. Even still, the two tend to pick up for one another in a fight. [Scary] Kane Magus, due to the merging of NC-Janitor with Dionysus, parts of the NC counterpart remained. This pretty much means that Dionysus would probably hesitate before attempting to kick Kane's ass in favour of kicking someone else's ass. [No Comment] Harold: The Right hand man leading the Faction Plan-wise, giving his all for the faction's goals. [MIA] Brutus: The Newbie Recruiter for the Minakochanians and Generally Cool Minakochanian Fan Artist. ^_- As a result, he's considered to be the faction's Left hand. [Retired/MIA] TD is aware that the authors of both hands seem to be MIA. Cape-Mike (+ Makochanians), due to the alliance between the Minpire and the Makochanians, Cape-Mike and his crew are generally not targetted by Nefarious Plans. Rather, they're usually invited along for the fun! Speedie, again due to the merging of NC-Janitor with Dionysus. However, she's dead so it's a pretty moot point. [Retired/MIA] NOTABLE ENEMIES: Amara Alexander, she sided with Herr K against him during their reign as the leaders of the Continuity Busters. This resulted in the near death of TD after his battle (as NC-Janitor) against I Abibde. [Retired] I Abibde, for being a Amichanian. Er, and attempting to kick his ass. [MIA] Prince Sapphire, the leader of the Darkmoonians and the unwitting cause that allowed Dionysus to accend to the leader of the Minakochanians which evolved into the current day Minpire. Somedays it just doesn't pay to get out of bed. [Retired/MIA] Dark Glen, the Darkmoonian Second-in-Command. In an evil plot, Dark Glen tried to turn Dionysus to evil with the Demon Sword. He succeeded for a time, and when TD had finally managed to regain his Minakochanian Spirit to suppress the Darkmoonian Nega-energy coursing through his body... Dark Glen vaporized him. Dionysus is feeling much better these days, but still holds a grudge against him rivaling the grudge with the darkmoonian prince. [Retired/MIA] Nyagachillios, the OSDF:TNG battle commander, or whatever his position is these days. Nyakun has tangled with TD in many battles, but the biggest 'problem' each has with the other is probably the blowing up of each other's space ships. The OSDF dog will pay! Kane Magus, for being an endymionsamaian. Er, also for Jam and Petalling the Artemis-P Space Station, although that little incident was paid back quickly enough. (We Kraft And Dinnered the No Faction Resort.) Speedie, for being an endymionsamaian. Er, also for interrupting Nefarious Plan Celebrations on the Artemis-P Space Station. (Also for dying. NC-Janitor was annoyed about that. ;) OTHER NOTES: The Principle of Comparable Comparability. This is the closest I can explain how to expect TD to be written, and how you could probably write him yourself in battle situations. Overall, he's a pretty average fighter but when push comes to shove, and shove becomes omnipotent, you can pretty much expect likewise back. Basically, his abilities will somehow (possibly due to NC-Janitor's presence, possibly from some other unknown source) match most otaku he goes up against.
